Root of All Evil? (2006)

It took a some time but at last I'm glad to share this thought-provoking, powerful and mind-opening document of Richard Dawkins. Not for just atheists, it's a red pill for the ones who are ready for facing with the deep holes of religion. Do you dare or you want to continue dreaming?..

In this two-part documentary, Oxford Professor Richard Dawkins examines how religious faith is gaining ground in the face of rational, scientific truth. The program takes you to some of the world's religious hot-spots, both in America and the Middle East. Dawkins meets with religious leaders and their followers, as well as scientists and skeptics to examine the power of religion. Interviews with former Pastor Ted Haggard, the novelist Ian McEwan, the former Bishop of Oxford, and others offer valuable insights into the global impact and consequences of faith in the 21st century.

Along with his million-copy bestseller The God Delusion, Richard Dawkins' Root of All Evil? has helped inspire people of reason worldwide to say "Enough is enough!" Our modern world is the product of a long march from ignorance and fear to the Enlightement and beyond, always guided by the power of science and reason. To now abandon our endeavour toward progress and knowledge for faith and superstition puts humanity in peril.

I just found this blog searching for this documentary and I think I'll visit it frequently. Really nice job you are doing there.

Just one question: could you maybe upload the movies to some other place beside rapidshare? Because for non-premium users it's really a shame to have to wait so much between one download and the next one.
Thank you.

Just saw Rapidshare doesn't require any annoying waiting between downloads like before. Never mind, then =)
Thanks anyway

Thank you very much!

It seems that the Turkish translator was not very professional. They translated the phrase "live in a vacuum" literally into Turkish, which, then, sounds pretty stupid.

Thanks very much for this; one of the nicest documentaries.

Could you please provide links for Bill Maher's But I'm not wrong.

I'm dying to watch it but not available on DVD or anything in my country.

Why don't you use torrent for file sharing? BTW, there is this video on TPB.

I agree...torrents on this site would be very nice (and much easier)

Whether you believe in God or not why can't just live and let live? I think this documentary is doing no more than picking fights.
I we don't believe in God, fine, then when we die there is no problem and it's the same for those who do believe.
Are we all really so childish as to need to prove that we were right all along when in reality, IF we're right, it won't matter anyway.

Live and let live. If someone takes comfort in their personal beliefs then who am I to tell them they should live differently.

Hope you know the source of this personal belief. These are same old traditions from ancestors nothing else.

Anyway, I didn't see the blog is intervening the way you said. It didn't go to people's doors and knock down.
