Michael Shermer Decodes the Bible Code

Pardon my ignorance, but does Shermer address this particular pseudoscience in one of his books? I don't get the connection otherwise since he doesn't appear in the clip.
Its called Data Mining. If you put enough random information and you unleach an algorythm to prove anything you want, a spurious result will be found by pure brute computing power.
