The arrival of Alfred Russel Wallace's letter in June 1858 has thrown Charles Darwin into panic. This letter threatens to destroy years of work which began on five year voyage in southern hemisphere. Darwin spends the next 20 years painstakingly gathering evidence. He battles illness and the cruel reality of his own theory. But on the other side of the world Alfred Wallace has come up with the almost identical theory. Now Darwin will need the help of his loyal supporters more than ever.

COLLISION: Christopher Hitchens vs. Douglas Wilson (2009)

Collision is a perfect example for a documentary looks into the both points of view. Christopher Hitchens is clever and witty. In the first impression, as a debater he looks like that kind of man makes never mistakes, but he has a weary face in comparison to his opponent (I wonder why. Maybe due to the lack of power of faith?). I'm glad that he is on our side. :)

Vianne Rocher and her daughter travel from town to town and open a chocolaterie in each town they visited. They immediately attract attentions, especially due to never visiting the church. This outlander woman changes the routine of a townspeople in the rural France with her ancient recipes forever.

The script is full of clever dialogs, touchs on the sexual/class discrimination and our taboos at the same time. Delightful and charming characters, a moving story and an exotic soundtrack make this work timeless. Juilette Binochette is magical and ethereal in her role. And don't forget the secret weapon: Johnny Depp

I've posted a lot of atheist themed movies or the movies which have a secular language until today, but this one is my special favorite.
