Richard Dawkins Interviews Richard Leakey

"The man in Kenya who is driving this particular kind of campaign is Bishop Adoyo. He has got some extraordinary ideas, but very fundamentalist, very conservative. One point in a conservation with him on a telephone interview with one of the media, he put to me that what we are proposing is dangerous, depicting the evolutionary story is dangerous. I was somewhat shocked that it was dangerous. I said to Bishop, these things have been dead before several millions of years, how could they be dangerous? And the response was that it tells a very plausible story and the youth are in danger of believing it. And therefore it is best not told." Richard Leakey

Richard Dawkins visits paleoanthropologist Richard Leakey in Kenya's rift valley and they talks on evolution, becoming human, God etc.

hello from munich germany!

thanks for that dawkins interviews series in progress. comes, like other presentations here, handy to watch, when one gets tired of all the abundance of rich, entertaining, but now & then tending to become boring and too superfical media content available on the net.

consider sound & vision on these dawkins vids of yours quite alright.

some editing error was made here, though: sequence from about 17:25 thru 18:45 is repeated once more from bout 26:05 on until 27:25. contains leakay's telephone conversation with that bishop.

your error, or as source?

Thank you very much for clarifying your thoughts. My main goal is to make available these kind of materials for everyone.

And I'm afraid to say the problem source is the original video.
