Uganda, home to around 33 million people, is a dangerous country for gay people. Preaching hate speech against homosexuals is a national sport here. Newspapers expose their names on the front pages and promote anti-gay propaganda. Gay & lesbians run away from home to save their lives and are constrained to hide in inhumane places. Radio DJ Scott Mills travels to Uganda and has been witness to the hell, showing that main drivers of the anti-gay propaganda is the church since the firt missionaries has been preaching the idea that homosexuality is an abomination and evil.
Mega-churches have used religion as fund-raising tool for too long. They shower their followers in sanctimonious platitudes, then clamor for their cash. This video encourages a new definition of tithing by giving to causes with accountability. Created by Leaders&Flares.
Dispatches investigates how some faith schools in Britain are operating behind closed doors. Going under cover, they expose extreme intolerence to other faiths (even other Muslims) and violence against pupils. Main problem of the program is that they blame extremists for these problems and ignore the fact that Quran is a source of hate speech and discrimination. Before the end of the program, we see a more tolerant and modern faith school which teaches the Quran in Arabic. I wonder how they teach the verses like these: "O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them." (5:51) or Allah curses the Jews "So when they took pride in that which they had been forbidden, We said unto them: Be ye apes despised and loathed!" (7:166)

One of the most vocal arguments currently raging is about climate science. Many people seem unconvinced that we are warming our planet through the emission of greenhouse gasses. And trust in other scientific theories has also been eroded, such as the safety of vaccines, or that HIV causes AIDs. There have been angry protests against the use of genetically modified foods.
Scientists are under pressure today as always. President of the Royal Society, Paul Nurse asks the question 'why does science appear to be under such attack?'
